Brick is the one of the most long standing materials used for paving driveways, patios, walkways, and vertical surfaces. Traditionally, bricks are created from clay that is fired into the shape of a rectangular block.
Typically, these blocks measure 4 inches by 8 inches by 2.25 inches. Because brick is installed by hand, block by block, intricate patterns (also called bonds) can be created.
Brick is a very durable solution that is very popular for traditional, historical, and Mediterranean style properties. It can also be used to add bands and/or borders to flat concrete surfaces and looks especially nice when paired with pami-pebble exposed aggregate finish projects.
